Catriona Gray Disappointed after Being Cut Off During Speech at GP Festival
Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray vented her disappointment on social media after she allegedly was cut off during her speech at the Global Peace (GP) Festival.
The beauty queen expressed her annoyance about her experience at the Global Peace Festival in Pampanga on Twitter. She expressed disappointment in her post because she didn’t have enough time to complete her speech at the event.
The model admitted that she had planned a speech that was supposed to last 20 minutes. The Global Peace Festival 2022, which took place in Clark Global City in Pampanga, invited Catriona to speak.
After being interrupted mid-speech, the 28-year-old beauty queen revealed how totally dissatisfied she was. She emphasized that she had been eager to give her speech but had been interrupted.
“I’m so disappointed. To everyone who has been waiting in the heat at the #GPFestival2022 I’m sorry. I worked on a 20-minute speech for you all, and have been so excited to share it with you all but I was cut off not even 10 minutes in,” she shared in her post.
However, Catriona continued to express her gratitude to her supporters for turning out. “Just know I love and appreciate you guys and I’m so sad I wasn’t able to have my proper time with you,” she added.
Catriona had nothing to worry about, claimed netizens and admirers who were present at the event. They acknowledged that they also wished she had spoken more, but they also emphasized that it wasn’t the beauty queen’s fault.
The recording artist and former Miss Universe has recently traveled to Ilocos Norte as part of her Raise Your Flag YouTube vlog. The Miss Universe winner posted snippets from her journey along with some other details about the area on her Instagram.
Catriona visited a number of tourist attractions in the province, including the sand dunes where she had the chance to ride an ATV and a 4×4. She also mentioned that she had gone sand surfing in the local dunes.
