Jessie Salvador, the sister of Maja Salvador, also joined showbiz
Actress-host Maja Salvador was able to establish her name in the entertainment industry with her versatility and her sister Jessie Salvador is following in her footsteps.
Aside from doing roles in different acting projects, Maja is also knowns as the queen of the dance floor. Now, she is one of the hosts of the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga and has established her own talent management company as well.
With her success in showbiz, her sister Jessie is also aspiring to establish her own name in the industry. However, this is not an easy journey for her. Based on the article in NewsKo, Jessie Salvador shared that she joined the industry in 2013 but it was just lately that more opportunities are coming her way.
“Dati pa po ako sumusubok mag-showbiz hindi lang po talaga nagwo-work. Baka hindi talaga siya para sa akin, ganu’n po ‘yung pumapasok sa isip ko. And then naisip ko na lang na mag-aral na lang ako. Pagka-graduate ko po eto na po, may Crown Artist Management na,” the sister of Maja Salvador shared.
Jessie’s career is now being managed by her sister’s talent management company. Maja is her stepsister. Jessie also shared that there were people who told her before that she should ride on her sister’s popularity in order to be popular also, but she did not do this.
Although Maja told her not to mind other people’s opinions, Jessie thought that it was not the right thing to do.
When asked what advice Maja Salvador gave to her, Jessie Salvador shared that her sister would always tell her to give her best every time she is on stage.
“Lagi niya lang pong sinasasabi sa akin na, ‘Pag nandyan ka na, nasa stage ka na or na sa set ka at may palabas kang gagawin ibigay mo yung one thousand percent mo.’ Kasi ‘di ba, hindi rin natin alam kung kailan ‘yung next,” she said.
