Gerald Anderson shared this story amusing story
Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson revealed something about his A Family Affair co-star Sam Milby.
Sam and Gerald are among the cast members of the Kapamilya series featuring the story of four brothers whose lives are entangled in the life of a woman named Cherry Red who is played by Ivana Alawi.
Jameson Blake and Jake Ejercito are also part of the series. In a recent interview, based on the video posted on the YouTube channel of PEP, Gerald and Sam talked about their PBB background.
Both actors became housemates in the reality show Pinoy Big Brother before becoming actors. Sam Milby was in the first season of the Kapamilya reality show meanwhile Gerald Anderson was included in the first teen edition.
Gerald shared that when he first came to General Santos City, his best friend showed him the PBB. At that time, the season in which Sam was included was airing. Gerald’s friend encouraged him to join the reality show also citing that Sam was there and they were both Filipino-Americans who at first did not know how to speak Tagalog.
“May kamukha ka doon, Fil-Am din siya,” Gerald shared what his friend said to him. He shared that it was the moment he thought of joining PBB. “So, siya ang naging inspiration ko, no joke,” Gerald said. Sam said that he is touched by what his fellow Kapamilya actor said.
Then, Sam Milby jokingly said that he, Gerald Anderson, and Jameson Blake are indeed the AFAM brothers, they are brothers in “A Family Affair.” Gerald said that in all the years he knows Sam, this is the wittiest reaction that he heard from him. It can be heard that reporters during the said press conference were also laughing.
