Ivana Alawi has a new teleserye
Kapamilya actress Ivana Alawi shared how it was working with two of the most sought-after Kapamilya leading men Gerald Anderson and Sam Milby.
Blessings continue to pour on Ivana. Aside from the success of her YouTube channel, the actress-vlogger is having her first lead role in the series A Family Affair.
In the series, Ivana will play the role of CherryRed, based on the article in PEP. She will be joined by Gerald and Sam, along with Jake Ejercito and Jameson Blake, as the Estrella brothers.
The story of how the lives of the characters are entangled with each other is yet to be divulged. In a recent interview, Ivana Alawi admitted that behind her excitement to do this project and to have the chance to work with the aforementioned actors, there was nervousness.
“I was very excited especially [with] the whole cast. [Pero] pagpasok ko, natatakot ako, kinakabahan ako kasi Gerald and Sam, mga pinapanood ko lang iyan noong bata ako! Hahaha! ’Tapos, siyempre, excited to work with Jake and Jameson,” the actress-vlogger said.
However, Ivana said that she is thankful to receive an overwhelming support from her co-stars. She shared that shooting the series was a fun experience because they were already at ease with each other.
Ivana also shared that she was excited that Masbate is their shooting location. “Sobrang nag-enjoy ako noong first cycle kasi first time kong makapunta ng Masbate. And yung mga experiences doon, yung horse riding, yung view, ang sarap sa feeling,” she said.
Ivana Alawi also said that she enjoyed the company of the production people as they were “barkada” on the set.
Meanwhile, Gerald Anderson said that he is excited for the actress-vlogger’s first leading role. He also said that viewers should watch out for the dynamics that the Estrella brothers have with Cherry.
