LOBBY LOUNGE – The Manila Hotel’s Lobby Lounge is a perfect spot where guests can enjoy an Afternoon High Tea and other best-sellers.
Last May 24, 2021, the Lobby Lounge of The Manila Hotel finally opened its doors again after months of temporary suspension due to the ECQ. This place is quiet, comfortable, and spacious and the health and safety of the gue, and sts are always a priority.
The place is well-curated with white Doric columns, Philippine mahogany furniture, and chandeliers made of brass, crystal, and capiz seashells.
However, above the overall look of the place are the special and classic dishes it can serve the guests. The Lobby serves Sinigang na Salmon, Kare Kare, Crispy Pata, and other local and hearty delights.
Its Filipino Afternoon Tea also includes classics such as Bibingka and Puto Bumbong which can be paired with specialty-grade coffee beans, hot chocolate, or tea. They also serve club sandwiches, assorted pastries fruit teas, and halo-halo.
On their menu, for starters, a guest can choose from Vegetable Spring Rolls, Vegetable Samosa, Fresh Grill Tofu Salad, and Grilled Frankfurter Sausage.
The several kinds of pastas they have are Pancit Malabon, Lasagna Al Forno, Whole Wheat Penne Primavera, Spaghetti Carbonara, Spaghetti Marinara, Spaghetti With Meat Balls, and Spaghetti Allamatriciana.
They have salads soups and sandwiches like tuna or chicken, kani-fresh mango wrap, chicken shawarma wrap, grilled US beef burger, and grilled ham and chees. The pizzas also come in many flavors like Hawaiian, Bello Giardino, and Quatro Formaggi.
For desserts, they have ice cream which comes in two scoops, blueberry cheesecake, seasonal fresh fruits, and crepes samurai.
