Ruffa Gutierrez and Ciara Sotto have something in common
Mhies on a Mission hosts Ruffa Gutierrez and Ciara Sotto were asked about their ex-boyfriend A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz.
Ciara and John Lloyd reportedly had a two-year relationship. However, it was said that they were forced to hide their romance with each other because, at that time, the actor was establishing his love team with Bea Alonzo.
Ruffa and John Lloyd became a couple in 2009. Their relationship lasted a year which started to bloom when they worked together in the series I Love Betty La Fea.
This year, Ruffa Gutierrez and Ciara Sotto, together with Mariel Padilla, are doing a morning talk show on ALLTV. During the recent press conference for their new project, Ruffa and Ciara were asked about the thing that is something common to them.
Apparently, reporters were referring to John Lloyd Cruz who is their ex-boyfriend. “Never. Marami kaming ibang pinag-uusapan,” Ciara laughingly answered. Ruffa continued, “like her (Ciara) current.”
Ciara denied that there is a “current” in her life now. When Ruffa was asked about the past, she said that it is already “lumang kuwento.” Ciara added Ruffa is their family friend. “Mas matimbang ang family,” the younger actress said.
The older actress added that they are also neighbors. Ruffa even shared that Ciara’s mom Helen Gamboa would always give her delicious food. The former beauty queen also shared that she would say to Tita Helen that she wants to order her crab dish because it is her favorite but the veteran actress would not let her pay.
“So wala kaming napag-uusapan na hindi dapat pag-usapan,” Ciara Sotto reiterated. Meanwhile, Ruffa Gutierrez lauded the younger actress because she is a promising host because she is very spontaneous and very well-rounded.
