Ruffa was just 13 years old back then and she looked smaller than her actual age. No one imagined that she would be tall to fit for a beauty pageant. Because of that, Mother Lily remarked that did not look like the daughter of Eddie and Annabelle and said to her, “bumalik ka na kayo”.
After a few months, Ruffa went back to Mother Lily and the latter was surprised that she turned out to be a tall young woman. The actress is now in her 40s and still considered as one of the tallest women in the showbiz.
