Kapuso stars Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz shared the lessons they learned from their respective heartbreaks.
Rayver is currently pursuing Julie Anne. As of this writing, the Kapuso stars haven’t confirmed yet the real score between them but they keep on spreading “kilig” vibes to JulieVer fans who are just waiting for their relationship confirmation.
Aside from being partners on stage, especially for their JulieVerse concert, they are also leading to the stage of being partners behind the camera. In a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, they were asked about what they learned from their heartbreaks before finding their way to each other.
The Limitless Star that people have different ways of coping up and sometimes, this depends on the depth and gravity of the reason behind the breakup. In her case, Julie Anne San Jose said that she made herself look pitiful because she let that happen.
“I’m not confrontational as a person, so I tend to allow people to be abusive to me. I allow it to the point na parang hindi ko na bina-value ang sarili ko,” the singer-actress said.
Going through that tough time, she realized the importance of her family and friends. She admitted that being in a relationship, she tends to shrug off the reminders coming from her loved ones. “Then, you realize that your parents were right all along!” she stressed.
Julie Anne San Jose also said that praying helped her a lot in going through a heartbreak. She prayed for discernment and guidance.
Rayver Cruz agreed with the special girl in her life. He said that a problem is given to a person because the Lord knows that he or she can handle this. “Just pray hard and one day, you’ll realize why it had to happen. That you had to go through it because you’re meant to do something else… and you’re meant for someone who’s better for you,” he added.
