Kakai Bautista has a new show with Korina Sanchez
Comedienne-singer Kakai Bautista shared her thoughts on being the co-host of seasoned journalist/TV host Korina Sanchez in a new show.
Korina is hosting the show TikTalks on OnePH with Kakai, Alex Calleja, G3 San Diego, and Pat-P Daza which will start airing on December 3, Saturday, at 8:00 p.m. This will also be aired on Cignal Channel 1, SatLite Channel 1, and on the Cignal Play app. The show will be simulcast on TV5 and Radyo Singko 92.3 News FM.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Kakai shared that she can’t still believe that she is now the co-host of Korina. The Dental Diva said that it was really the seasoned journalist who called her regarding the said show.
At first, she was hesitant to say yes because it was surreal for her but this was overpowered by her desire to be part of the show. Kakai Bautista said that she was in a taping when Korina Sanchez called her.
“At saka isang beses, nagte-taping ako… so, nakababa yung phone diyan. Parang tinatawagan niya ako. E, ang nakalagay, totoong pangalan niya, si Ms. Korina Sanchez. So, nalokah yung mga kasama ko sa taping. ‘Bakit tinatawagan ka ni Miss Korina?!’ Nag-aayos akong ganun. Ay, sagutin ko, ‘Hello, Madam,'” Kakai shared.
Her co-stars in the said taping teased her about the call she received from the seasoned journalist. Until now, the comedienne-singer still can’t fully believe that she is part of this show.
Kakai also said in jest that she hopes the show will last until its 100th season. She added that there is no generation gap between the hosts and they are not offended by each other even though they would share their different thoughts on certain topics.
