Cristy Fermin Expresses Opinion on Liza Soberano Career in the USA
Veteran showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin expresses her opinion of Liza Soberano and her career in the USA after leaving talent manager Ogie Diaz.
Liza Soberano’s career situation in America was mentioned in the most recent episode of Cristy Fermin’s “Showbiz Now Na” show. The Hollywood columnist claims that Liza’s career has “floundered.”
Cristy was disappointed in Ogie Diaz since her new talent manager appears to be suffering with the talent he had cared for so many years. Ogie will likely be upset by the situation, according to Cristy.
“Inalagaan ito ni Ogie e, pinalaki ito ni Ogie. Iningatan ng todo-todo para maabot ‘yung pangarap niya. At nagtagumpay naman sila bilang talent at manager… Tapos biglang ganito? ‘Yung pinaghirapan niya parang sumadsad e. Sadsad masyado,” she said.
Because of this, Cristy acknowledged that she didn’t believe Liza was forced to leave the care of the previous manager. Despite the fact that Liza was one of the most successful performers in the nation, the showbiz reporter suggested she leave Ogie’s care for whatever reason.
“Ito lang punto natin na inalagaan ni Ogie Diaz ang kanyang karera, pinagtagumpay naman siya ng kapalaran hindi ba? Hindi kaya may nagsulsol sa batang ito para kumawala sa pangangalaga ni Ogie at lumipat ng iba,” said Cristy in her show.
For almost 11 years, Ogie handled the actress’s prosperous career in the Philippines. Liza, on the other hand, changed talent managers and moved to James Reid. Ogie claimed there was no animosity between the manager and the actress as a result of Liza’s decision to go to James’ talent agency.
Liza even has Ogie’s support for her upcoming Hollywood career. As a talent manager with limitations, Ogie is aware that he is ill-equipped to handle Liza’s rising career in the Hollywood industry.
