Maxene Magalona is guarding her private life
Actress Maxene Magalona refused to say anything about her breakup with musician Rob Mananquil.
Maxene and Rob tied the knot in 2018. After four years of being together as a married couple, the actress confirmed last October that they ended their relationship. Since that breakup announcement, Maxene has been sharing inspiring posts on Instagram about positivity.
However, amid her effort to stay positive and heal from the pain caused by the breakup, Maxene’s name was involved in a controversy. She was accused of being the third party in the alleged breakup between Angel Locsin and Neil Arce.
Maxene Magalona had a relationship with the film producers years ago. Amid this issue, the actress chose to cling to positivity and just shrugged off the rumors.
Previously, Neil has addressed this issue as he said that the rumors about his and Angel’s breakup are not true. However, Angel has not yet released a statement on this issue.
In a recent article by entertainment columnist Dolly Anne Carvajal in Inquirer, she shared that she tried to reach out to Maxene to interview her about the breakup. However, the daughter of the late Master Rapper Francis Magalona refused to give a statement.
“Out of respect for Rob, I would rather not talk about our split-up,” Carvajal shared the reply that she got from the actress. The columnist added that although Maxene and Rob broke up, they remained friends.
Meanwhile, a month after she confirmed her breakup with Rob Mananquil, Maxene Magalona shared that she moved out from their marital home. She is now living in her own apartment.
“Move on, move out and move forward. When something ‘negative’ is happening in your life, approach the situation with love and kindness. God is with you every step of the way,” she wrote in the caption of her post about this.
