Alden Richards has this statement years ago
Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards had an old interview wherein he stated that he has no child and this has resurfaced just recently.
For many years now, many fans of AlDub, Alden’s tandem with Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza, believed that they have a relationship in real life. These fans strongly believe that the two celebrities are married and they are parents now.
Maine has reiterated that there is no truth to this. She said that she personally reached out to their fans to clarify that what they believe is not true. However, the actress-host said that there were those who are insisting that she is married to Alden.
Amid the resurfacing of this issue, there were netizens who criticized Alden Richards for not speaking up. He is accused of nurturing the belief of “delusional” AlDub fans. However, supporters of the Pambansang Bae have been sharing clips from his past interviews in which he has repeatedly stated that he is single.
Social media personality Jover Laurio who handling the @PinoyAkoBlog Twitter account posted this question: “May video or statement na ba si Alden na he categorically sinabi niya na hindi sila kasal ni Maine at hindi totoo na may anak na sila?”
Many fans of the Start-Up PH actor shared clips from his interview back in 2017 until 2022. These clips showed the actor saying he is single and that he has no love life.
A netizen commented with a clip showing that Alden Richards directly said that he has no child. “My conscience, wala po akong anak,” the actor said.
In a recent Showbiz Now Na episode, Cristy Fermin‘s YouTube showbiz talk show, she shared that Alden Richards called her to once again clarify that he has no romantic involvement with Maine Mendoza and they have no child.
