Lady Doctor’s Response to Angkas Rider Who Thinks Doctors Are Rich Goes Viral Online
A lady doctor goes viral over her response to an Angkas rider thinking all doctors are rich: “Hindi po mayaman”.
A Facebook user named Deanne Cuevas has shared her conversation with an Angkas rider she rides in while heading to her point of destination. The post garnered different reactions from internet users.
The rider asked Cuevas if she is a doctor based on her uniform. The female doctor politely answered ‘yes’, which brings confusion to the rider. The Angkas driver was surprised that a doctor will ride a motorcycle.
Deanne explained that she could not afford to ride taxis or Grab with her current salary. The health worker said that she is earning more than P20, 000 per month and had to pay bills and other expenses.
Initially, the ride-hailing company employee thinks that all doctors were rich but realized that not all of them have the ability to live a luxurious life.

“Kanina, tinanong ako ng nasakyan ko na rider.
Rider: Doktor po kayo mam?
Ako: Opo.
Rider: Buti sumasakay po sa motor.
Ako: Opo sir kasi hindi po kaya ng sweldo ko ang taxi at grab.
Rider: Ah. Pano po yun mangyayari? Mayaman po ang mga doktor.
Ako: Nasa 20 thousand plus po yung sahod ko, magpapamasahe pa po ako at kakain.
Rider: Akala ko po mayaman lahat ng mga doktor.
Ako: 30 plus na po ako, doktor, pero hindi po mayaman.
Yung iba, pinanganak na talaga na mayaman pero maraming doktor ang nagsisimula sa ilalim at nagbubuno ng madaming taon para magkaroon ng maayos na buhay. Dapat siguro maitama ang mentalidad na ang pagdokdoktor ang susi sa pagyaman dahil higit sa lahat, ito ay tungkol sa paglilingkod sa bayan at hindi para sa kaban. ”
