“Clown in Palace” Poem of Romnick Sarmenta Elicits Reactions Online
Veteran actor Romnick Sarmenta shared a poem on his Twitter account about the “clown” who allegedly entered the palace.
Due to his divisive statement, Romnick has elicited various of responses from the online community. The seasoned actor used Twitter to share a poignant poem.
Romnick’s poem, which is written by hand in the “calligraphy” style, tells the story of a “clown” who invaded the palace. In his story, a clown enters a palace, but instead of becoming a king, the castle turns into a circus.
“When a clown enters a palace, he doesn’t become a king; The palace becomes a circus,” said Sarmenta.
“There’s a fine line between that which pleases and that which is beneficial… and it’s called discernment.”
“I have been many things to different people, and the only difference I see, is who they are to me,” Romnick added.
Because Romnick has previously posted in such a mysterious manner, internet users assume that his remark has a political undertone. Romnick declared that he was behind former vice president Leni Robredo’s bid for the presidency in the most recent election.
Romnick Sarmenta has more than 40 years of experience in the entertainment industry. The actor, who is 50 years old, is quite appreciative that he is still working. It should be recalled that Romnick first gained notoriety in 1977 as a young performer in Gulong ng Palad.
