Amores lost control while playing defense and started punching the other team after getting tangled on the ground. Due to the altercation, Jimboy Pasturan of the Benilde Blazers and Taine Davis of the same team both had injuries to their jaws.

Due to the event, the game must be stopped by the NCAA, giving the Blazers the victory. The NCAA Management Committee has decided to cancel the JRU Heavy Bombers vs. College of St. Benilde Blazers game in order to avoid any negative situations getting worse.

Meanwhile, Rendon Labador, a self-described social media motivating figure, reveals his feelings on the occurrence. Rendon posted a picture of Amores taken during the altercation on his Facebook page.

Rendon additionally revealed his desire to square off against the JRU violent basketball player. He claimed that he desired to compete against individuals like Amores in basketball.

“Yan ang mga gusto kong kalaban sa basketball,” Rendon said in his post.

Recall that Rendon caused controversy in the basketball community when he challenged Marc Pingris, a PBA player known as “Filipino Sakuragi.” He challenged Pingris to a basketball match where there was a lot of money at risk.
