Derek Ramsay talked about Ellen Adarna’s son with John Lloyd Cruz
Actor Derek Ramsay said that he considers Elias like his own son even though the boy is the son of his wife Ellen Adarana with actor John Lloyd Cruz.
Derek is obviously close to Elias. Even before he officially tied the knot with Ellen, he and the little boy already bonded as they would spend time together. Previously, John Lloyd showed appreciation to Derek for taking care of his son.
The Happy ToGetHer actor even wished Derek and Ellen a good marriage because this will become an important thing in Elias’s life. In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Derek Ramsay said that he does not call Elias his stepson.
“I think he’s my son,” the hunk actor said. However, Derek has no intention of replacing John Lloyd in Elias’s life. He said that he respects the biological of the boy and that what he wanted is to be a father figure to Elias every time they are together with Ellen.
“I don’t want to disrespect John Lloyd. He’s the biological father and I’m always going to be second best to John Lloyd. But I love him like he’s my own,” Derek said.
Meanwhile, Ellen and Derek celebrated their first wedding anniversary in Peru. The couple has shared photos from picturesque spots in the said country. Ellen shared that this trip is her surprise wedding anniversary gift to her husband because he really aspired to visit this place.
For their honeymoon, last March, Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsay went to Africa with Elias.
Meanwhile, the actor ended his contract with the Kapuso network as he wanted to focus on his family now.
