Richard Gutierrez has a new series
Actor Richard Gutierrez shared the preparations that he had to do for her role in the new Kapamilya series The Iron Heart.
Richard plays the role of Apollo in his upcoming series which also features Maja Salvador, Meryll Soriano, Jake Cuenca, Sue Ramirez, Sofia Andres, Baron Giesler, Althea Ruedas, Dimples Romana, and Pepe Herrera.
Previously, Maja shared why it was not difficult for her to decide to accept the “special role” that was offered to her in the said series. She is now a freelance artist which means that she can do projects with different TV networks.
In a recent media launch, based on the article in Manila Bulletin, Richard Gutierrez shared that preparation-wise, it took them a month before the actual filming. With that span of time, he was able to prepare physically and mentally.
He knows that this kind of series will demand a lot of physical effort from him. “So I always try to enter shows like this kumbaga fully prepared. Naka-mindset ako prepared yung katawan ko,” the actor added.
Richard also expressed gratitude to the crew members for helping him when it comes to the action scenes. He is also thankful to their director Richard Arellano for helping him create his character as well as for the support that he got from everyone on the set.
“It was really a process and hindi ko siya magagawa mag isa, I have the whole team behind me,” Richard stressed.
Creative head Jay Fernando shared that Richard Gutierrez is the ideal actor that they have in mind for the role of Apollo. From the time when they were conceptualizing this project, it has always been Richard as the first choice.
The Iron Heart is set to premiere on November 14. This will be aired on TV5, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Jeepney TV, iWantTFC, TFC (The Filipino Channel), ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel, and other social media platforms of the Kapamilya Network.
