Netizen Urges Eat Bulaga to Speak Up and Clarified the Alleged Aldub Cult
A concerned netizen called out the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga to speak up and clarify the alleged Aldub Cult.
On Twitter, a man going by the handle Max has asked other users to mention Eat Bulaga and Kapuso actor Alden Richards. Following certain “delusional” AlDub followers, the administration of the noontime show should step in and provide an explanation.
The fan club is still clinging to certain irrational tales about the purported real-life union of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza. This is the most recent statement made by a Twitter user after a video of what appeared to be a gathering of the on-screen couple’s admirers went viral in October.
It should be recalled that the group’s portrayal as having the characteristics of a cult caused it to become popular online. Even Alden attended the fan reunion, according to Ogie Diaz’s information on his showbiz channel on YouTube.
Despite Maine’s clarification, the actress received more criticism when it was claimed that those fans had formed “conspiracies” with Ogie in the recently viral interview.
While receiving criticisms of certain AlDub fans, Ogie said, “Let’s not live in the past. The talent manager, like the Twitter user, asked Alden and Eat Bulaga for a remark on the matter.
“Sana nga maringgan natin ang Eat Bulaga kung ano ang kanilang press statement para dito,” saad ni Ogie. “Hindi dahil sa nakikisawsaw sila sa isyu kundi dahil syempre doon nabuhay ang AlDub,” added co-host Mama Loi.
It should be recalled that the AlDub love team rose to fame following the watched and popular “Kalyerserye” from 2015 to 2016. As of this writing, neither the actor nor the noontime program has responded to the controversy.
