Macky Mathay Pens about “Sunshine” In his Post
MACKY MATHAY – The San Juan Councilor had a cryptic caption on his Instagram post amid his rumored breakup with actress Sunshine Cruz.
It was no secret to the public when a romantic relationship blossomed between actress Sunshine Cruz and businessman Macky Mathay, the half-brother of actress Ara Mina. Many people were very happy for the actress who found a new love after her marriage with her ex-husband failed.
Sunshine and Macky both have children from their previous relationships. The actress has three (3) daughters with her ex-husband, actor Cesar Montano. The businessman and now San Juan City Councilor has two (2) sons and a daughter from his previous relationship.
In May 2022, Macky ran for councilor in San Juan City under Mayor Francis Zamora’s ticket. He was proclaimed winner last May 10, 2022. Sunshine was present during the city’s 76th inaugural session.
Macky Mathay also attended the birthday of one of the daughters of Sunshine Cruz more than two (2) months ago. The actress’ ex-husband and his new family were also there.
However, a few weeks after the said event, rumors that Sunshine Cruz and Macky Mathay have broken up crossed the surface. Both of them remained mum amid the rumors and have not posted any photo of them together.
Recently, Macky Mathay had a cryptic caption for his Instagram post wherein he mentioned “sunshine”. Is he referring to Sunshine Cruz amid the breakup rumors?
“If I have to reach for the heavens for my sunshine again and again I would.”
“Heights from the beautiful Matukad Island of Caramoan, Camarines Sur,” the San Juan City Councilor wrote.
Macky has turned off the comment section on his Instagram post. Previously, Ara Mina revealed that Macky and Sunshine are going through something but hopes that whatever happens, they will still be together. She stressed that there were previous instances when the couple also went through something but it did not caught the media.
