Reason Why Manny Pacquiao Plans To Return To Politics
MANNY PACQUIAO – Philippine boxing icon and former senator Manny Pacquiao revealed the reason why he plans to return to politics after failed presidential bid this year.
Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao announced his retirement from boxing in September 2021. The boxer-turned-senator is set to face off against South Korean YouTuber and martial artist DK Yoo on Dec. 11 at the Korea International Exhibition Center in Goyang.
In a presscon, Pacquiao vowed a real fight with Youtuber. He said “the fight is real” and they “will try to knock each other out. That’s why we need to work hard.”
Manny Pacquiao went to Seoul, Korea October 10, with his wife Jinkee Pacquiao in preparation for his fight against Yoo. Jinkee shared pics from their trip on her IG account.
While in Korea, the 43-year-old boxing champ also made a guest appearance on the well-loved South Korean reality game show ‘Running Man.’ He and his wife also got to meet former 2NE1 member Sandara Park. They couple shared photos with the Korean superstar on their respective IG accounts.

Manny Pacquiao and Sandara Park appeared on the October 22 episode of South Korean variety show ‘Knowing Bros.’ During his guesting, Pacman said he plans to return to politics after his failed 2022 presidential bid.
“Sumali ako dahil gusto kong disiplinahin ‘yong mga tao. Pagdating sa korapsyon, gusto kong sugpuin ‘yong korapsyon and then gusto kong umunland ‘yong bansa namin,” he said .
Host and comedian Kim Yongchul then asked the boxing legend if he has any plans to run again. Pacquiao replied, “Mayroon pa rin. Nandiyan ‘yong passion kong makatulong sa tao.”
