Dead Teacher Found Wrapped in Curtains Inside a School in Cebu

Authorities found a dead teacher who was allegedly wrapped in a curtains inside school stockroom in Naga, Cebu.

The teacher, named June Leo Pañares, 33, was found dead with stab wounds in a school in the City of Naga, Cebu, according to a GMA Regional TV report. Inside the City of Naga Integrated Center for Science, Technology, Culture, and Arts’ stockroom, the victim’s body was discovered.

Pañares, a high school instructor at the institution, sustained stab wounds to his several body regions. The victim was seen with guys before the event, according to the CCTV footage.

Police are still looking into the crime’s motivation. His last text message was to his buddies, according to the report of Police Lieutenant Colonel Junnel Caadlawon, Chief of the City of Naga Police Station.

The local administration has also promised a reward of P50,000 to anyone who helps identify the offender. The victim’s brother bemoans what transpired.

The victim’s motorcycle was even seen to the school security guard on Saturday afternoon, but it was not there that evening. While the crime was being investigated, the school briefly paused classes.
