In the middle of online bullying, Bea Alonzo is the well-raised daughter according to Shirley Kuan.
BEA ALONZO – Lolit Solis’ tirades against Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo has been going on for months and this is what Shirley Kuan said.
Veteran entertainment columnist Lolit Solis has been attacking Bea Alonzo through online posts. But despite the foul and hurtful remarks she said about the actress, Alonzo remained silent. She did not make “patol” with the columnist who is currently going through some health issues.
Shirley Kuan, the manager of Kapuso actress said that what Solis has been doing is a form of bullying. In a previous article, Bea decided not to file any case against her amid those unprovoked attacks.
“She refused to sign it because ayaw niya… out of the goodness of her heart, ayaw niyang patulan ang matanda. That’s what she said. ‘Ayaw kong pumatol. Plus, what if something happens to her, baka ang mangyayari, ako pa ang sisihin,’” Shirley said.
In a post, Solis expressed her apology to Alonzo and to people who got also hurt because of the critical comments and remarks she wrote.
And amid all these happenings, Kuan commended her artist for being a “well-raised daughter”. She did not praise Bea alone. She also praised her family because not pursuing legal charges was the decision of her family.
Instead of making revenge and filing cases against her, they maintained their respect for the old columnist.
“She’s a well-raised daughter, I must admit that, because the decision about not pursuing [a case against Lolit ] legally was a decision of the family. This speaks volumes of what kind of family she has, what kind of people surround her, only so positive,” she said based on a report from PEP.
Meanwhile, Alonzo is among the most well-respected artists in the industry. She is now under the GMA network. She currently stars in Kapuso’s prime-time series Start-Up, the Philippine adaptation of a hit South Korean series of the same title.
