It was claimed in the GMA Regional TV broadcast “One North Central Luzon” that the occurrence took place in Barangay Pentor in the mentioned town. The victim’s mother, Merlyn Dela Cruz, claims that her son was attacked by the dog while he was walking to the store to buy a snack.

The dog allegedly continued to bite the toddler until the child’s nose was cut off. Concerned neighbors assisted in stopping the violent dog and transported the child to the closest facility.

As per the report, the girl received anti-rabies treatment, but she had to be sent to a larger hospital to have her nose fixed. Merlyn made a call to the dog’s owner, who should be liable for the incident’s costs, asking for assistance with their hospital bills.
