Jeffrey has become a hot topic on social media since the premiere of the Netflix real crime series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, which starred Evan Peters. In a 1993 interview with Inside Edition, Jeffrey revealed that he murdered 17 teenage boys.
He said that the reason behind his murder was his “obsessive aspirations of wanting to control them, own them permanently.” Later, he made the strange decision to consume his victims, which was followed by the compulsive desire to “make them feel like a part of me.”
The killings spanned 13 years, from 1978 through 1991. However, it came to an end when one of his victims was able to flee and report him to the police.
A year later, he received a life sentence in prison. During his stay in prison, several letters and cards are being sent to him by his alleged fans. However, he passed away in 1994 after being beaten to death by another prisoner.
