Ruru Madrid opens up about the role of Bianca Umali in his life
Kapuso actor Ruru Madrid said that actress Bianca Umali, the woman he has been dating for four years now, changed his life.
Ruru and Bianca are not loveteam partners and they haven’t partnered on one project yet. However, love bloomed between them and they have been receiving support from their fans.
Previously, their relationship became a trending topic on social media. It is because social media personality RR Enriquez slammed the couple for having a no-label relationship even though they have been dating for four years now.
Amid that issue, the couple remained to ignore the negative reactions. In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Ruru Madrid admitted that before meeting Bianca Umali, his life was focused on partying.
During his first year in showbiz, he would frequently go out clubbing with friends. However, he realized that not all gimik buddies are real friends. He wanted to change that attitude and he needed someone to help him.
That was the time when Bianca came into his life. “Then dumating si Bianca sa buhay ko. I stopped everything. I stopped going out, kumbaga mas nag-focus ako sa career ko. Tinry ko ‘yung best ko na ibalik ‘yung dating ako,” the Kapuso actor said.
He also shared that there was a time when he felt like giving up his showbiz career but Bianca was there to motivate him. During the time when he was crying because he felt like there was nothing going on with his career, Bianca became his shoulder to cry on.
“Parang siya ‘yung naging sandalan ko. Kapag umiiyak ako, siya ‘yung tagasalo lahat ng mga problema ko,” Ruru Madrid said. When his big project came, the series Lolong, that encountered a lot of delays, Bianca Umali’s inspiring words motivated him again.
“Siya lang ‘yung nagpapalakas ng loob ko na ‘Tandaan mo ‘tong sasabihin ko sa ‘yo. Someday dadating ‘yan sa ‘yo. Hindi man ngayon pero dadating ‘yan sa ‘yo dahil alam ko na ibinibigay mo ‘yung puso mo sa bawat ginagawa mo,'” the actor shared.
Ruru also said that he will always remember what Bianca said to him and that he needs to grow on his own. He said that the actress told him that she will always be there for him but he needs to learn alone.
