Former President Rodrigo Duterte Final Net Satisfaction at +81

RODRIGO DUTERTE- The former President of the Philippines ended his term with +81 net satisfaction rating base on SWS.

In a report posted on its website, the SWS said that during the final days of the Duterte administration, from June 26 to 29, its survey of adult Filipinos revealed “88% of Filipinos satisfied, 5% unsure, and 7% unsatisfied with the performance of Rodrigo R. Duterte as President.”

Polling firm said that; “Compared to April 2022, gross satisfaction with President Duterte rose by 10 points from 78%, gross undecided fell by 4 points from 9%, and gross dissatisfaction fell by 6 points from 13%,”

“The resulting net satisfaction rating is +81 (% satisfied minus % dissatisfied), classified by SWS as excellent,” it added.

Based on the report of GMA News that according to the polling company, the June survey findings were 16 points higher than the very good +65 in April 2022 and set a new record-high, surpassing the previous record of +79 in November 2020.

According to the SWS, the report mentioned, Duterte’s total net satisfaction rating increased by 16 points between April 2022 and June 2022 “was owing to rises in all areas.”

The former chief executive’s net satisfaction in Metro Manila, in particular, increased from “very good” to “outstanding,” rising by 22 points from +63 to a new record-high +85, exceeding the previous mark of +76 in November 2020.

Duterte’s net satisfaction rating increased from “very good” to “excellent” in Balance Luzon, according to SWS, rising by 15 points from +60 to a new record-high +75, surpassing the previous mark of +73 in November 2020.

The former president’s popularity in the Visayas increased in a similar way, climbing from “very good” to “excellent,” increasing by 28 points from +55 to a new record-high +83, which bested the previous record of +79 in December 2019.

According to the SWS, Duterte increased his “excellent” rating in Mindanao by 7 points, from +83 to +90. The previous president received “great” ratings across the board, including among men and women, all age groups, all educational levels, hungry families, and people who were forced to go without food.

The SWS said that the record are based on the answer of 1,500 adults, 18 years old and above, nationwide.
