Apollo Quiboloy Slams Greta Thunberg for Calling PBBM Admin Fascist

The Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) founder Pastor Apollo Quiboloy calls out climate change activist Greta Thunberg for calling the current administration ‘fascist’.

Quiboloy questioned her assertion of the climate change activist after she denounced the Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr administration. In a video played at the University of the Philippines Diliman Campus, a 19-year-old activist said that there would be no climate justice under President Marcos’ administration.

Thunberg stated that she supports those fighting for democratic rights and climate justice as well as those victims of Martial Law. Alde Nilsson, another climate activist, followed Thunberg in stating that fascist leaders cannot lead the way to climate justice.

The Pastor questioned the climate activists on Spotlight about how the Marcos administration turned fascist when this was happening. He emphasized that the majority of Filipinos select and elect the politicians they believe will best serve the nation, based on SMNI article.

“These are leftists. They are communists also. So, what do we expect from them? And they call the administration ‘fascist’. You can make an accusation like that but how did we become fascist? Quiboloy asked.

“We are a democratic country, we elected our own president, vice president, senators, congressmen, mayors, governors, and councilors in a democratic system of government. How can that be fascist?” he added.

The Pastor also exhorted them to back up their claims. Quiboloy concluded by saying that they are merely criticizing the administration in an effort to win over the populace; their critiques are without substance or worth. Additionally, the Pastor advised foreigners—including Thunberg—not to meddle in Philippine politics.

“So easy to say, “climate justice cannot be achieved under fascism.” How? How-how de carabao. You’re just mouthing hot air so that you can just say something and be quoted Greta Thunberg if you are not a Filipino, Sass Rogando Sassot said, I am together with her, don’t meddle in our own politics here,” said Quiboloy.
