Lady Teacher Singing “Babalik Sa’yo” by Moira dela Torre During Class Earns Praises Online
A lady teacher identified as Chrisel Joy Dela Cruz goes viral online for singing “Babalik Sa’yo” by Moira dela Torre during her class.
A Facebook user named Kirstin Aguilar Fordelon has shared the video footage of her teacher granting the student’s request to sing in the middle of the class. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that teacher Chrisel Joy Dela Cruz sings the popular hit song “Babalik Sa’yo” during her class. The entire class was blown away because of her beautiful voice and impressive singing skills.
Dela Cruz said that her student asked her to give a sample of her voice. Unfortunately, the educator refused to grant their request and agree to sing if students could get a perfect score on the quiz.
Fordelon narrated that all groups get a perfect score during their performance task leaving Chrisel with no choice but to fulfill her promise. The teacher used her ‘Lapel’ to sing while one of her students played guitar to accompany the song.
“Kakatapos lang namin lahat sa performance task namin by group tapos energetic and happy kaming lahat kasi perfect yung all groups. May group na nagdala ng guitar and sakto rin kasi homeroom time na yun. Nagpasample kami sa adviser namin at nag request kami for that song,” Fordelon said.
Teacher Chrisel has also expressed her gratitude to her Grade 12 students for sharing her video, and to everyone who tagged Moira in the comment section. Moira even shared and reposted the video.
The educator is also hoping to collab with the popular singer someday.
