BIKE TO SCHOOL – The Department of Education (DepEd) encourages teachers and staff to ride bikes to get to work.

Many people now are into cycling and there are also some institutions and groups that encourage biking. Recently, alongside the celebration of the World Car-Free Day, DepEd expressed an encouragement to teachers and staff to bike to school. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Department is already coordinating with the local government units (LGUs) and other agencies to ensure the safety of cyclists on the road.
