Ruffa Gutierrez answers questions about her rumored network transfer
Actress Ruffa Gutierrez made clarifications about her appearance on ALLTV, the new network under Manny Villar‘s Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS).
For the past few years, Ruffa has been doing projects in ABS-CBN. She is also a regular judge in It’s Showtime‘s Miss Q & A segment. However, many Kapamilya fans were surprised when she appeared on ALLTV during its soft launching last September 13.
The new network is now occupying the frequencies previously assigned to the Kapamilya network. With this, many netizens thought that she is officially joining Willie Revillame, Toni Gonzaga, Mariel Rodriguez, Ciara Sotto, and Ella Cruz as talents of AMBS.
In a recent Instagram post, based on the article in PEP, Ruffa Gutierrez was asked about speculations that she will be transferring to ALLTV. One netizen asked her if she is an artist now on the new channel.
The actress stressed that she is a freelancer and is allowed to work with anyone. “I am a freelancer. No exclusive contract with any network. I am allowed to work with everyone,” Ruffa said.
Another netizen asked the actress if she will be leaving It’s Showtime. Apparently, it is because she is absent from the show for several days now. Ruffa clarified that she was just on leave.
“HIndi ko iniwan ang @itsshowtimena [heart emoji] I’m on vacation po,” the actress stressed.
Meanwhile, it is known to many that Ruffa’s stint in the Kapamilya noontime show became controversial last month. It is because of seemed to be fiery words she exchanged with fellow Miss Q & A judge Kaladkaren Davila.
Because of that, there were those who thought there was a conflict between them. However, both Ruffa Gutierrez and Kaladkaren Davila denied that they have “alitan” and they even stressed that they are friends.
