Jeric Gonzales considered this new project as his biggest break so far
Kapuso actor Jeric Gonzales expressed how overwhelmed he is to be part of the TV series Start-Up PH.
Jeric’s showbiz journey started when he became one of the winners of season two of the Kapuso talent search Protege. From that, he was given a chance to be part of various TV shows on the Kapuso network.
His recent project is a K-Drama adaptation series also featuring Bea Alonzo, Alden Richards, and Yasmien Kurdi. In the series, Jeric plays the character of Davidson who aspires to put up his own company with his friends.
For the Kapuso actor, this is the biggest break that he has so far in the entertainment industry. He is happy and excited about this project. In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Jeric Gonzales said that he was overwhelmed when he saw the trailer of the series.
“Kaya nung makita ko yung mga teaser, overwhelmed pa rin ako na makita yung sarili ko na ako yung nag play dun sa character ni Dave,” the actor said.
Previously, Jeric said that it has been his dream to work with Yasmien, Bea, and Alden on one project. He expressed gratitude to his home network that he has given this kind of chance.
The actor admitted that his character is indeed challenging. However, he also got inspired by his character. “Very inspirational si Davidson kasi ang start kasi talaga siya sa wala e. Parang from scratch mag-aaral siya, and then matututo siya, and then ayun, ipupursue niya talaga yung dream niya,” Jeric Gonzales said.
Meanwhile, the actor shared that he was able to develop friendships with his co-stars Royce Cabrerra and Boy2 Quizon. The three of them are the founders of the Three Sons Tech Group. “Yung friendship nga na nabuo, parang nadala namin sa screen so yung mga eksena namin. Puro kalokohan,” Jeric shared.
