Kapuso actress Rita Daniela slammed a showbiz news site’s write-up about her rumored breakup with the father of her baby.

Rita announced her pregnancy last June. However, the actress-singer did not reveal the identity of her non-showbiz boyfriend. She said that her partner is a private person. Just recently, Pilipino Star Ngayon columnist Salve Asis wrote in his August 7 article that it was speculated that Rita and her boyfriend are no longer together.

Asis also said that she heard the story about the breakup and when she got pregnant, the actress already got separated from the non-showbiz father of the baby. The columnist even stated that the baby was conceived after their “breakup s=x.”

This write-up was posted on the official Facebook Page of PSN. Rita Daniela shared this post and denounced the speculations about her and the father of her baby. “So, this is the source. This page proudly edited a picture of me with their headline. Proud sila sa fake news,” the Kapuso star said.

Rita also called out to her social media followers not to follow the page of the showbiz news site because she said that it is spreading fake news. However, the actress-singer pointed out that the damage has been done already. It is because she already received negative reactions following the write-up about her personal life.

“Nakapag komento na ang mga tao at naniniwala na sila dito. Nakapag judge narin sila,” she said. The Kapuso star also encouraged netizens to be cautious of what they read online. “Netizens, not all you see online and on social media are facts — including this page,” Rita Daniela stressed.
