Residents at Remote Area in Laguna Performs “Buwis Buhay” Stunt to Cross River

STA. MARIA, LAGUNA – The residents of a remote area in Santa Maria, Laguna used an old cable as a zip line to cross the river.

The Facebook Joseph Tenorio Vlog has shared video footage of residents using an old cable as a zip line to cross the river in Santa Maria, Laguna. The breathtaking video elicits reactions from the netizens.

In the video, it can be seen that the residents were using a V-shaped wood as a holder to cross the make-shift zip line made of old cable wire. The improvised zip line becomes the mode of transportation in the area for has no bridge.

Remote Area

The children also enjoyed playing and using the improvised zip line. The adults were using it to avoid soaking in the river. The make-shift gear makes it more convenient for the residents to cross.

However, some netizens expressed their concern to the residents due to the danger of using such a thing.

The government should continue the construction of roads and bridges in the country to ensure the safety of the public.
