Markus Paterson Says He Never Committed Violence Against Any Woman
MARKUS PATERSON – Fil-British actor-singer Markus Paterson said he will never hurt a woman.
Janella Salvador and Markus Paterson first confirmed that they were a couple in Sept. 2020. In January 2021, they introduced their son Jude Trevor to the public. Their cute baby was born in October 2020.
Speculations about her split started circulating in June. Netizens also noticed that the two have not been posting photos of each other on their respective social media accounts.
In a Youtube vlog released by Kapamilya journalist Bernadette Sembrano on Sept. 3, Janella Salvador shared how she relates to her Darna character, Regina.
“Si Regina, she’s a lawyer and vlogger. She’s very intelligent and her heart is in the right place. She fights for justice… Kapag meron siyang ipinaglalaban, as long as alam niyang nasa tama siya, ilalaban niya talaga,” Janella said.
The Kapamilya star was then asked to reveal the last thing she fought for, and she replied, “Being a single mom.”

Days after her revelation, Janella’s interview with talent manager-comedian Ogie Diaz resurfaced on social media. The said interview was released last February.
During the said interview, the Darna actress opened up about her trauma of being around drunk men. When asked about how Markus made some adjustments to his alcohol intake, Janella said that they were still “working on it” at that time.

In a Twitter post, the actor-singer set the record straight and said that he never laid a hand on a woman.
“saw some tweets circulating. FACT: I have NEVER, and WILL never lay my hands on a woman. My parents raised me right. I’ll address the rest on the podcast.”
In a previous article, Markus Paterson made a remark about a lesson that he learned from his past relationship. He said, “never f*cking date someone in the industry.”
