Cassy Legaspi and Darren Espanto have recently set their fans abuzz because of their photo together on a beach getaway. It was a Batangas beach trip for the two of them together and many are wondering if it’s just only the two of them who went there.
The singer flaunted his toned physique while walking on the beach and as seen in of his photos, a reflection of Cassy in front of him was visible. He said in his post, “[Throwing] out the shade for a little bit of sunshine.”
This photo went viral and amid the loud buzz it created, Cassy’s mother, actress Carmina Villaroel, broke her silence about it. Accordingly, Cassy and Darren were not alone together on that trip because they are with their friends.
Carmina explained that her twins are close to Darren and also they belong to the same circle of friends. She knows her daughter and she knows her priorities. She also understands that her twins, being teenagers, would just want to enjoy, thus, the beach trip but it was all clean fun.
As for Cassy and Darren, she stressed “Wala talaga!” when asked about the singer pursuing her daughter. Many won’t believe but the two are really just close to each other like the best of friends.
She added based on a report from PEP, “I always tell my kids that I trust them. I really trust them. And yun lang na huwag lang sana nilang sirain. Kasi pinagkakatiwalaan ko sila, at yun ang importante, e. Gusto ko maging masaya lang ang mga bata.”
