The ZTE Optus X Tap was announced in the first quarter of 2022. The smartphone is powered by a 3200 mAh Li-Ion battery.

The dimension of the Optus X Tap is 166.50 x 75.60 x 8.50 mm and weighs 174 grams. It comes with a screen size of 6.52 inches IPS TFT capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels.
Platform:
The smartphone is powered by UniSoc SC9863A Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is IMG8322. It runs on the Android 11 operating system. It is packed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It also supports expandable microSD storage up to 512GB.
Main Camera:
The Optus X Tap sports a dual-camera setup at the back comprising of a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensor. It features an LED flash and digital zoom.
Selfie Camera:
On the front, the mobile features a 5-megapixel camera for clicking beautiful selfies and making video calls. It also features digital zoom.
Connectivity options on the device include NFC, GPS with A-GPS, USB OTG, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, and Bluetooth 4.2. Its sensors include a fingerprint, gravity, light, proximity, and an accelerometer.
