Boy Abunda shared his future showbiz plan
King of Talk Boy Abunda said that he wants to return to doing TV shows and he revealed negotiations he is doing with some parties.
Boy is one of the icons in the Philippine entertainment industry when it comes to talk shows and interviews. He has been an inspiration to many aspirants who want to follow in his footsteps as one of the prominent TV hosts in the country.
For quite some time, he is doing his interviews via his YouTube channel. However, in a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, he expressed that he is in the process of negotiating for his TV comeback.
“I wanna go back to television. Ako’y paalis dahil I host Ten Outstanding Filipinos in America ngayong taon,” Boy Abunda said, adding that he has been doing this hosting stint for eight or nine years already. He is hoping that when he returns, he will be doing a TV stint already.
Aside from the aforementioned event, Tito Boy will also be hosting Olivia Quido’s beauty product launch in New York with the current Miss Universe.
When asked what TV network he will be returning to, the seasoned host said that he does not know yet as the negotiations are still undergoing. He was also asked about the possibility of doing the same hosting event in GMA as he did with the round-table discussion for Flower of Evil.
Tito Boy said that anything is possible. Then, he was asked if there is a negotiation with the Kapuso network, the seasoned host answered, “Kung magugustuhan nila ako. Hindi! May mga pag-uusap. May mga pag-uusap, hindi lamang sa Channel 7.”
Boy Abunda shared that he has remained good friends with Kapuso bosses over the years. This is also the same with the staff and the people in GMA who he worked with in the past.
The seasoned host also shared that he has not received any offer from the Advanced Media Broadcasting System of Manny Villar.
