Melissa Ricks Happily Announces She’s Currently Pregnant W/ Her 2nd Child
MELISSA RICKS – Star Circle Quest alumna Melissa Ricks announced that she is currently pregnant with her second child.
On May 23, 2021, Kapamilya star Melissa Ricks married Michael Macatangay. Their closest friends and family members were present when they got engaged in Batangas.
Melissa has a daughter with former boyfriend Charles Togezaki. She met her husband in a church where she prayed to find someone like him. The actress met Michael in a church where she prayed to find someone like him.
Melissa Ricks celebrated love and unity in her stepdad’s house in California. Only 15 people were invited to the ceremony, and those people helped to make it more special.
“I did my own hair and makeup, zipped myself into my gown, drove down to the chapel, had a simple ceremony with 15 people. Afterward, we had the reception in my stepdad’s backyard,” said Melissa.

In a post on her Instagram account last August 25, Melissa announced that she’s expecting her second baby – her first with her husband Michael. She uploaded a video of her visit to an OB-GYN clinic, where she and her family get a glimpse of her child through ultrasound.
In the video she shared to reveal her pregnancy, the Star Circle Quest alumna is seen accompanied by Micheal, as well as her 7-year-old daughter Keira.
In the caption of the post, she wrote: “When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”
Melissa is the daughter of the president and director of S&R Philippines, Kelly Ricks. She became well-known as one of the winners of ABS-reality CBN’s talent show “Star Circle Quest” (SCQ).
She’s best known for her performances in the television shows Komiks Presents: Da Adventures of Pedro Penduko, Iisa Pa Lamang, and Walang Hanggan.
