Julia Barretto was asked about her love life
Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto refused to answer the question about her boyfriend actor Gerald Anderson amid the recent issues.
Julia is currently promoting her new movie Expensive Candy with Carlo Aquino while Gerald has started filming for his movie Unravel with Kylie Padilla. Just recently, rumors surfaced that Julia and Gerald’s relationship is going through a problem.
There were also rumors saying that they had already broken up and the alleged third party is Kylie who is also rumored to be pregnant. The Kapuso actress denied these rumors.
During a recent interview, based on the article in Abante, Julia Barretto was asked about the issues that surface every time she has a new project like the recent breakup rumors involving her and Gerald Anderson.
The Kapamilya actress did not directly answer the question as she stressed that she has been private when it comes to this life behind the camera. “Well, I don’t know, I’ve always been very private with my personal life. Just recently, with everything that has happened before, I’ve learned to be protective with my personal life,” she said.
She added that as much as possible, she wants to keep that aspect of her life private and draw a certain boundary between her work and her personal life.
Meanwhile, Julia said that her role in her first movie with Carlo Aquino is something that she considers most revealing so far. For this movie, she had to do dance workshop under G-Force. “I thought after ASAP, tapos na akong sumayaw, pero napasabak ako sa G-Force for this. Nag-workshop muna ako ng mga seksing sayaw bago kami nag-start mag-roll,” Julia Barretto shared as her role in the movie is s#x worker.
Expensive Candy will be released in Cinemas on September 14. It is directed by Jason Paul Laxamana under Viva Films.
