Regine Velasquez highlighted the value of Ogie Alcasid in her life
Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez said that without her husband OPM icon Ogie Alcasid in her life she will probably be an old maid.
Regine and Ogie tied the knot in 2010 and after more than a decade their relationship is getting stronger. They are blessed with a son named Nate. During the ASAP Natin’ To on August 21, an advance birthday celebration for Ogie was held.
Based on the article in Bandera, Ogie could not contain his emotions when he was singing the song Pangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Ka that he composed. At one point in the song, he could not continue singing the lyrics.
He said that it was because of his wife. “In the 55 years that I’d be living here on earth, my biggest companion was music. Through my ups and downs, it’s always been (music). But what brought music was you,” Ogie Alcasid to Regine Velasquez.
He also recalled the time when they got married and he felt the same back then. Ogie added that everything he celebrates in his life, he is celebrating with Regine. The Songbird gave an equally emotional message to her husband.
She said that she is the number one fan of Ogie and he is a blessing to her. The Magandang Buhay host also shared that she told her husband that she can’t imagine her life without him.
“I’d probably be an old maid. So thank you for marrying me. I cannot imagine being with anyone else but you,” Regine said. She also thanked her husband for making her laugh every single day amid problems and challenges.
For her, every day is an adventure with her husband but she is feeling peaceful with him beside her. “I love you so much. Thank you,” Regine Velasquez said to Ogie Alcasid.
