Craving for Japanese food? Tako Bar Manila offers the best takoyaki
Tako Bar Manila is catching the attention of foodies and one of the mouthwatering dishes it offers is the best takoyaki you could ever have.
Based on the article in Manila Bulletin, this Japanese restaurant was established in 2017 in Marikina City and was initially a catering service. Young entrepreneur Bianca Marie Pascual started this business with P1,500 as startup capital.
From that humble beginning, Pascual was able to introduce authentic Japanese flavors. When she was starting, her clients were her family and friends, eventually, her business grew. Now, she is catering to celebrity customers like Kim Chiu, Dingdong Dantes, and the Gutierrez family.
Putting up this business did not happen overnight for Pascual. She traveled to Japan for research as she believes that in order “to sell legit, you need to try the legit.” From her humble P1,500 capital, her business is now earning P150,000 to 180,000 per month just from doing events.
Pascual opened the dine-in service last May. Although amid the pandemic, food delivery services became a success, the entrepreneur believes that it is still a good thing to have a physical place where customers can enjoy their food. “I also want to push the aesthetics of the brand—to create a more Japanese setup,” she said.
One of the most-loved dishes in her restaurant is the traditional octopus with vegetables – the best takoyaki in town. Customers can also enjoy the donburi, chicken teriyaki, and rice bowl. Their miso soup is also a must-try. Enjoy these delicious dishes with special milkshakes.
You can visit Tako Bar Manila at #207 Southeast Dao, Marikina Heights. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 1 to 8 p.m. For those who want to inquire about catering services, contact Viber (0977 836 0507) and @takobarmnl on Instagram.
