The manager of Tom Rodriguez shared something about the actor
Actor Tom Rodriguez, as of now, is not yet ready to return to the Philippines after his controversial breakup with actress Carla Abellana circulated online.
Tom decided to leave the country amid the heated issue between him and Carla. It was eventually revealed that they divorced. However, until now, there was no confirmation about the real reason for their breakup as several speculations surfaced.
In a recent writeup by entertainment columnist Gorgy Rula in PEP, he shared that he was able to talk to the manager of Tom Rodriguez, Popoy Caritativo, over the phone. Popoy is also the manager of Carla Abellana and they were able to meet during the GMA Gala Night.
The talent manager shared that he finally had the chance to meet Carla face-to-face because they were just communicating through the phone. When asked about Tom, Popoy said that even if the actor wants to back to the Philippines and work again, it is still difficult for him to do this.
It is because it is possible that the issue between him and Carla will be recalled. More likely, he will be asked during interviews about this and it was said that he is not yet ready to say anything about the issue. The talent manager also said that it is much better for the actor to have his family by her side, for now.
Tom is staying in Arizona with his loved ones. Popoy also shared that somehow, there is something that is keeping Tom busy there. He is doing some shows in the States and he is set to be the guest of Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas in her shows.
The talent manager also said that, as of now, it is still uncertain when Tom Rodriguez will return to doing shows on GMA. If the Kapuso network will offer a good project, Popoy said that would be the time he will talk to the actor regarding his come back.
