Bea Alonzo has this recent acting project
Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo will star in an international film titled 1521: The Battle of Mactan and a media conference about this project was held in Palawan on August 4.
Bea has an upcoming series Start-Up PH with Alden Richards, Jeric Gonzales, and Yasmien Kurdi. They have already started shooting for this but as of this writing, there is no final announcement yet regarding the release date.
Aside from an upcoming series, Bea is also doing a movie. Based on the DYPR Palawan’s Twitter post, the Kapuso star is set to work with Hector David, Jr. as her leading lady in the movie. Their characters will be Diwata at Enrique.
The film is produced by Inspire Studios and the target release date will be on June 12, 2023. During the grand press conference, Danny Trejo, director/actor Michael Copon, and producer Francis Lara Ho were also present, as well as seasoned actress Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan.
Maricel also shared a selfie with Bea on her Instagram account. Based on the caption of her post, she will be playing Bea’s sister in the movie. “Diwata & (Ate) Ahmani to rock your world.. soon!” the seasoned actress wrote.
A fan account also shared this short behind-the-scenes video showing that Bea was apparently walking to the shoot location. It also appeared that she was already wearing her costume.
One of the cast members, Nicholine Pamintuan, shared photos with the lead stars. In the caption of her post with Bea Alonzo, she shared that she really joined the production just to see the Kapuso star. “Sobrang bait mo Miss @beaalonzo sumali ako para sayo para makita ka lang and finally it happened,” she wrote.
As of this writing, no further details yet were revealed regarding this international film of Bea Alonzo.
