Binibining Pilipinas 2022 Controversy – The recently concluded Bb. Pilipinas pageant garnered intriguing comments from Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda and netizens who watched the coronation night.
On July 31, the pageant night of one of the most celebrated national beauty pageants in the Philippines was held at the Araneta Coliseum. Many pageant fans expressed on social media their predictions of who will win and showed support for their favorite candidate.
The venue of the pageant was also filled with cheering from fans who really took an effort to watch the pageant night live and to cheer for their Binibini. After the coronation night, Nicole Borromeo was crowned as the Bb. Pilipinas International while the Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental crown was earned by Gabrielle Camille Basiano.
Chelsea Fernandez was hailed as the Bb. Pilipinas Globe while Roberta Angela Tamondong was named as the Bb. Pilipinas Grand International. Nicole Budol was the 1st runner-up and Stacey Daniella Gabriel was the 2nd runner-up.
After the coronation night, Vice Ganda shared on Twitter this intriguing post. “Anu kayang meron sa kaguluhang iyon? Nawa’y walang nagkapalit ng korona. Oh well eklip nako. Congrats girls!” the It’s Showtime host wrote. This post of Vice garnered equally intriguing comments from netizens.
A netizen shared a video that was posted by Twitter user @jpatrickpineda showing that a staff member, who appeared to be a floor director, was talking to hosts Catriona Gray and Nicole Cordoves. It appeared that the staff member was clarifying something. “Feeling ko mali yung announcement ng placement winners tapos di na nila tinama, pinanindigan nalang ganon,” the netizen commented.
