Car Driver Criticizes Traffic Light w/ Over 2-Minute ‘Stop’ Time & 17-Second ‘Go’ Time

TRAFFIC LIGHT – A car driver lambasted a traffic light with more the 2-minute ‘stop’ time and 17-second ‘Go’ time.

Traffic lights, traffic signals or stoplights are signaling devices positioned at road intersections, pedestrian crossings, and other locations to control flows of traffic. The different colors of lights tell drivers what to do.

The green light gives the go signal, yellow as preparatory and red for a full stop. Motorists who will ignore or disrespect the signals will be subject to corresponding sanctions and penalties.

The Facebook page “VISOR” has shared the video footage of a car driver who criticized a traffic light with a 2-minute ‘stop’ time and 17-second ‘Go’ time. The video immediately spread like a wildfire online and elicits comments from the netizens.

In the video, it can be seen that the driver patiently waits for his turn to pass after waiting more than two minutes at a road intersection. The traffic light in the area only gives 17 seconds for the drivers to pass.

The motorist has expressed his disappointment regarding the traffic light for making him wait a little bit long but giving him very little time to pass. The traffic light allegedly causes convenience to the motorists passing along Trece Martires in Cavite.

The video has a caption:

“Dito po sa Trece Martires City (Cavite), yung stoplight po is more than 2 minutes waiting, then 17 seconds lang yung green light.”
