Bayani Agbayani received bashing due to his intriguing statement
Comedian-host Bayani Agbayani was asked to react to the intrigue that arose between Kapatid noontime show Lunch Out Loud and Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime.
To recall, Bayani’s remark about LOL’s effort not to exceed the time slot given to them went controversial. Many concluded that it was intended for Showtime which is now being aired also on TV5 after the Kapatid noontime show.
Vice Ganda, one of the main hosts of the Kapamilya noontime show appeared to have answered this “parinig” from Bayani Agbayani. Last July 15, the collaboration between the two noontime shows started. It’s Showtime is now being aired on TV5 after LOL.
Apparently, Bayani’s intriguing statement did not sit well with many fans of the Kapamilya noontime show, based on the article in PEP. His name become a trending topic on social media and many netizens also criticized the noontime in which he belongs. Some negative reactions stated that their show is boring.
When asked to react to the bashing that LOL received following his intriguing statement, Bayani just shrugged his shoulders. He refused to react anymore and said that he will just focus his time on more important matters in his life.
“Ilaan ko na lang sa pamilya ko ang oras ko. Masyadong maraming work ngayon, e. Kaya pag free ang time ko, masaya kami ng pamilya ko kahit dito lang sa bahay. Nag-scrabble kami, sobrang saya namin,” Bayani said.
PEP entertainment columnist Gorgy Rula said that LOL will receive more intriguing comments once the show of Kuya Kim Atienza, Pokwang, and Rabiya Mateo on GMA-7 titled TiktoClock will begin. Columnist Noel Ferrer also shared his thoughts on the new Kapuso show that will feature three celebrities who have different personalities.
“Maiba lang! Parang magandang idea to combine three very unique personalities,” Ferrer said about the hosts of TiktoClock.
