Bayani Agbayani said that there were celebrities who want LOL to end
Comedian-host Bayani Agbayani had this intriguing statement as TV5’s noontime show Lunch Out Loud (LOL) is now celebrating its first year anniversary.
Bayani, along with his co-host K Brosas, expressed happiness because their show is set to celebrate its first year anniversary on October 19. Based on the article in The Philippine Star, Bayani said that there is equality in the show as there was no “bida”. K added that their friendship is also a big factor.
On the other hand, the show and the people in it also received negative comments. “Nag-umpisa kami ng October, ang sabi, hanggang April lang kami!” Bayani Agbayani shared. K said that they are thankful they were given a chance to do the show and everyone in it is working hard to sustain their financial needs amid the pandemic.
Then, Bayani said that there were celebrities who criticized their show and hoped that it will end soon. “At saka ang nais lang naman talaga, e, mabuhay’ yung pamilya namin. Kaya nga nakakakurot din sa puso na… kapwa mo artista, mananalangin na sana, palitan na kayo?!” he revealed.
The comedian-host admitted that this is painful for him, especially that everyone is going through a lot. Bayani said that if ever the show ends, people in the production will be greatly affected. He pointed out that celebrities can still find other jobs if the show ends but it will be difficult for those who are behind the camera.
“May mga pamilya lahat ‘yan. E, retrenched na nga ang naranasan nila, gusto mong matanggalan pa ng trabaho?” he said adding that they are praying that all noontime shows will air for a long time and not the other way around so that many people in the industry will still have their jobs. “Kasi, kawawa naman ‘yung mga pamilya nung mga nagtatrabaho,” Bayani Agbayani stressed.
