JC Santos talked about his new thriller movie
Actor JC Santos shared the thoughts of his wife Shyleena Herrera on his intimate scenes with newbie actress Cloe Barretto in the Vivamax movie Tahan.
In this movie, JC plays Cloe’s high school boyfriend but they got separated for a long time. When they had the chance to reconnect, JC’s character wouldn’t let go Cloe’s character again.
However, their love story encounters a big obstacle – Cloe’s mother, played by veteran actress Jaclyn Jose who is the one pushing her daughter to be a high class pr*stitute. Jaclyn’s character would kill the men who will get involved with her daughter and so JC’s character should save her.
As JC Santos had to do intimate scenes with Cloe Barretto, the actor said that his wife is fine with this, based on the article in Bandera. “Yes, okay lang for my wife to watch this film. I think hindi naman siya mao-offend kahit may sexy scenes ako. She knows I’m an actor and confident akong ok lang sa kanya yun,” the actor shared.
Meanwhile, JC said that upon reading the script, he realized that Cloe’s role is difficult. With this, he thought of ways to help his leading lady and to highlight her character.
“With the support of Direk Bobby Bonifacio and Ms. Jaclyn, I think we were able to help naman Cloe para maitawid niya nang maayos ang napakahirap niyang role,” the actor said. JC also commended Cloe as an actress who promises a lot. For him, given the right projects, Cloe would be able to show her ability.
JC Santos also lauded his veteran co-star. “About Ms. Jaclyn, one thing I love about her is she is very consistent. Lahat ng trabaho niya, wala kang itatapon,” the actor said, adding that the veteran actress works hard on the set and that she is every disciplined.
