Video of Kamote Rider Who Overshoots & Collides w/ Van on the Opposite Lane Goes Viral
MARILAQUE ACCIDENT – A kamote rider overshoots and collides with van on the opposite lane in Marilaque highway.
Nowadays, road accident has been one of the most common traffic problems not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world over the past few decades. It usually causes injuries and even death to the victims.
Reckless driving is one of the most common causes of vehicular accidents. The authorities are implementing stricter traffic policy to prevent such incidents but a lot of motorists continue to defy the traffic rules and regulations.
The Facebook page “Philippines CCTV & DASH CAM Spotted” has shared the video footage of a tragic accident on Marilaque highway involving a kamote rider and a van driver. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that a white van is slowly driving along the Marilaque highway together with other vehicles. Everything seems to be fine until something unexpected at a blind corner.
A kamote rider overshoots and accidentally collided with the white van in the opposite lane. The incident sent the reckless rider pummeling on the ground and the van driver also stopped. The motorcycle rider was clearly at fault.
The video uploader said that he and his family immediately leave the area to prevent young kids inside the van to see the incident. Somebody is already helping the victim when the uploader leaves.

The van driver might need this, umalis na agad kami kasi kasama namin 3 kids ko and I didn’t want them to see it. I don’t know what happened to the rider pero may mga tumulong naman nung umalis kami.”
