Aleck Bovick Fans Hope She Will Release 10-minute Version Of ‘Nota’
ALECK BOVICK – Fans of singer-actress Aleck Bovick hoped she will release a 10-minute version of her hit song “Nota.”
Maria Teresa Bovick Tambis better known by her screen name, Aleck Bovick, is a Filipina-German actress. She went on showbiz hiatus in 2007 after giving birth to her son.
But after a while, the actress went back to the entertainment business and guest-starred in a few tv series such as Be Careful With My Heart (2012), Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita (2015), FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano (2016 to 2017), and Kadenang Ginto (2019).
Recently, Aleck Bovick made rounds on social media after she sang her hit song “Nota” on TikTok. The song was released in the early 2000s.
“Nota” suddenly became popular among young people after its music video went viral in 2019. In the video she uploaded this past week, she can be seen singing her famous song.

As of this writing Aleck Bovick’s TikTok video has garnered over 717K views. It also received mixed reactions from netizens. Some netizens joked, that hopefully, Aleck will release a 10-minute version of the said song as Taylor Swift did with her famous song “All Too Well.”
In a PUSH interview back then, Aleck Bovick said she couldn’t believe the resurgence of her song. She even admitted she was wondering if she would make a new music video with a new twist to her song.
“Kasi noon talagang nag-boom siya eh, mga year 2002 o 2003 hanggang sa nawala rin. Tapos [nag-boom] siya ulit, sabi ko ‘Nakakaloka itong kanta.’ Tapos ang dami kong nakikitang comments na bakit ngayon lang daw sumikat ’yun…”
“Ang galing ng timing no? Babalik at babalik din pala yung mga nagawa mo before, so parang umiikot lang. Ngayon hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko, gagawa ba ako ng sarili kong video na yun pa rin pero ibang style na,” she added.
